BitMart Labs Hosted 2019 Block Plus Summit Series III In Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Sep 15, 2019 Block Plus Summit Series III was hosted by BitMart Labs, an international blockchain incubator launched by BitMart Exchange. The event brought together over 30 industry leaders, 6 keynote speakers, 30 top tier media in the fintech world, covering over 500 guests and 3000 participants online and offline.

The event agenda was packed with insights from industry leaders such as Cynthia Wu, SVP and Head of Custody at Matrixport, Brano Vargic, COO and Executive Board Member of Fintech & Banking, Amber Chook, Co-Founder and CEO of Zebra Global, Felix Mago, Co-founder of NEXT & Dash Thailand, Ben Fairbank, Co-founder and CEO of RedFox Labs, Gary Chang, COO of Hpool and BHD community initiator. They gathered together, launched a heated discussion around topics including state of blockchain, the landscape of security token offering, platform wars and privacy protection in blockchain, custody in fintech industry and value propositions of tokenized economy in global fintech network.

Mr. Dharmasri Kumaratun, Director of FinTech at Central Bank of Sri Lanka delivered the opening speech. He suggested that in order to keep up with the rapid changing Fintech world, regulators will need to focus on areas of dedicated fintech teams, fintech industry enablers/utilities, fintech regulations/standards and fintech regulatory sandbox. He fully affirmed the prospect of cooperations between fintech players and regulators, especially across multiple countries, boosted confidence for blockchain practitioners.

Sheldon Xia, Founder and CEO of BitMart also shared his own view on “The Future of Digital Asset Exchange”. As the helmsman of BitMart, Sheldon is a serial entrepreneur. He founded DSCoin.org, one of China’s first batch of digital currency trading platforms in 2013. BitMart currently ranks the top 3 crypto exchanges on CoinMarketCap with over 900,000 users worldwide.
